Our

Teams

Canterbury Bankstown FC fields squads across the Junior Development League, Youth, and Senior competitions. Every team represents the club’s commitment to development, discipline, and community pride. Our pathway supports players from their first steps in structured football all the way to senior competition, creating a clear and supportive journey through the game.

Training Times

JDL — Tuesday & Thursday
Youth & Seniors — Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

Training times apply across all squads unless otherwise advised by coaches.

JDL Teams (U9 - U12)

The beginning of the CBFC journey. This is where young players learn the habits, discipline, and confidence that shape their future in the game.

  • Ages: U9–U12

  • Focus: Technical development, ball mastery, confidence, and foundational football intelligence.

  • Pathway: Prepares players for Youth NPL and senior football through structured, age‑appropriate training.

  • Identity: A supportive environment where players build their love for the game and learn the values that define CBFC.

Youth Teams (U13 - U18)

The bridge between junior football and senior competition. Youth players refine their understanding of the game and begin to take on tactical and positional responsibilities.

  • Ages: U13–U18

  • Focus: Tactical understanding, physical development, positional awareness, and competitive match experience.

  • Pathway: Direct progression into U20s and First Grade squads.

  • Identity: A high‑growth stage where players develop football intelligence, resilience, and readiness for senior football.

Senior Teams (U20 & First Grade)

The competitive peak of the CBFC pathway. Senior squads represent the club at the highest level, carrying the legacy of more than 140 years of football.

  • Squads: U20s & First Grade

  • Focus: High‑performance football, advanced tactical systems, and a unified club‑wide playing philosophy.

  • Pathway: The culmination of the CBFC development system, where players compete, lead, and represent the club’s identity on and off the field.

  • Identity: A proud, disciplined, and competitive environment built on leadership, professionalism, and community.
